Exchange of phone calls from a friend's (प्रीती) friend (खुशबू)_ paved my way to Sri Ram centre.

She had to wait for my arrival because i was late as usual (which i have learnt in the company Dr. Saab). However i tendered my apology instantly. Coming back to the play, the actors and actresses, director and producer showed an impressive skill that can be expected from NSD pass outs, especially role played by नाना फादनाविस and घासीराम कोतवाल actors and lastly सूत्रधार. Everything was perfect to a level of expectations.

However, i really disliked the idea of bringing नाना फादनाविस in the picture. He was shown to be bigger villain far above the justice system. The play does not end at the positive note, like nothing can be changed as long as the then system of governance exist. He was shown as the person having enormous power without much responsibility and accountability. The lower functionary like घासीराम कोतवाल got an inappropriate justice and so the bigger political culprit नाना फादनाविस remain beyond justice.

What really angered me is that the producer and director could name some other person in place of नाना फादनाविस. He was one of the main architect of modern पूना and मराठा empire. He was chief of the struggles against मुग़ल empire. Everyone knew about the attacks on public safety and dignity in the times and region of sultanate period. But none of our so called secularists prefer to take same stick of neutrality while dealing with these issues.
